How to kiss a girl for the first time^^

How to Kiss a Girl for the First Time intro.jpg
She's sweet and she's beautiful and you're finally clicking...is it time for a kiss? If you've never kissed her before (or never kissed at all) it can be a bit intimidating. But don't worry! A little preparation and a little practice and you'll be a pro before you know it. Don't be scared: you've got the mood prepared....go on and kiss the girl!

Part 1 of 3: Setting Up for Success

  1. 1
Practice! The best way to be more comfortable and better at kissing is to practice first. It seems like obvious advice but it really does help. You can practice on your hand, with another object, or with another person.
    • Keep in mind, you might not want to kiss another person because if you are already attached to girl you want to kiss or kiss her really soon after and she finds out, she might be upset.
    Ad
  2. 2
Make sure you have good breath! The girl doesn't want to taste garlic or other icky flavors after the kiss, as this can be a major turn off. Before the date or when you see her, brush your teeth and tongue and use mouth wash! To maintain good breath try drinking water on the date instead of soft drink. You can also suck on a mint or chew minty gum for a few minutes mid-way through the date.
    • If you are at a restaurant, bring along your favorite breath freshener. Excuse yourself after dinner and go to the bathroom. Freshen your breath and then, to make sure your breath smells good, hold your hand up to your face, breathe, and smell.
  3. Kiss Step 3 Version 2.jpg
    3
Flirt a little! This can help set the mood. Tell her that what she is wearing looks pretty; she will appreciate it! If she playfully punches you a lot or teases you in a friendly manner, then she wants you to touch her. Stay in safe territory like quickly grabbing her hand when you want to go show her something; she will appreciate not having to do the whole awkward looking at each other and blushing thing.
    • If you are brave you could put your arm around her waist when you two are laughing and say something playful like "You're so cute!"
    • Offer to give her a piggyback ride, or tickle her a little if she likes it. Don't do this constantly, and when you do it, do it respectfully. Don't grab her breasts or butt.
    • Flirting will make her more open to kissing you. Think of kissing as reaching the top of a mountain. You have to hike a little to get to the top.
  4. 4
Time it right. Getting good timing will make it a lot easier. A good time for a kiss is at the end of a date, when you're generally saying goodbye, when you're out for a walk, or after you've just finished watching a movie. You'll notice that all of these times are pretty private and should pretty much just be the two of you. This is important! You should choose a private time for a first kiss.
    • The kiss should stay private too. Don't kiss and tell. This is rude.
  5. How to Kiss a Girl for the First Time part 1 step 5.jpg
    5
Ask! It seems weird because we're only used to seeing the super charming people in movies kissing, but asking a girl if you can kiss her is a great way to show her that you respect her and care about her feelings. She'll appreciate it!
    • You can say something like: "I really want to kiss you right now? Is that okay?" or "Do you want me to kiss you now?"

Part 2 of 3: Nailing the Technique

  1. Kiss after a date 3.jpg
    1
Move your face slowly toward hers. This is a universal signal that you're moving in for a kiss. This gives her the option to let you know that she's uncomfortable and will help keep you from getting slapped. Don't close your eyes until you are just about to kiss her.
  2. Kiss Step 11.jpg
    2
Try a simple close-mouthed kiss. Don't use tongue the first time you kiss a girl. Make sure you close your eyes right before you start the kiss.
  3. How to Kiss a Girl for the First Time part 2 step 3.jpg
    3
Tilt your head. Move in sideways a little. If your head is just as upright as her, you'll bump your nose into her nose instead of your lips into her lips.
  4. 4
Move slowly and follow her lead. If she's a deep, passionate kisser, she'll hold your lips in hers for a long while; you won't need to move your lips much.
  5. How to Kiss a Girl for the First Time part 2 step 5.jpg
    5
You use your hands. If you want, cup her face with your hand and slowly stroke her cheek with your thumb. Make sure you still have one arm firm around her waist or lower back.
  6. 6
Be tender and loving. Kissing is like a silent conversation: You want to be kind, gentle, forgiving, and you want the other person to keep coming back for more!
  7. 7
Breathe. You'd be surprised how many people forget to breathe when they aren't used to kissing! If you want to keep kissing her but you're having trouble finding a break to breathe, try moving away from kissing her mouth to kiss her cheek or forehead.
  8. How to Kiss a Girl for the First Time part 2 step 8.jpg
    8
Stop when you're ready. Slowly pull away after a few seconds (or minutes!) and open your eyes. Congratulations! Each kiss after the first one is so much easier. You've reached the top of the mountain.

How do I download or save a YouTube video to my computer?

YouTube has been designed to only allow users to watch and view videos on their website. Many users want to save their favorite videos to their computer so they can watch them without being connected to the Internet or so they can watch them on other devices. Below are the steps required for downloading and watching YouTube videos on your computer for free.
Note: these steps are for saving a YouTube video and not saving only the audio of a YouTube video to an MP3 file.

Saving YouTube video as a video file on your computer

Today, there are many online websites that allow you to enter the URL of the video you want to save to your computer, and get a link to download the file. Below is a simple three step process that to download any YouTube video.
1. Go to any YouTube video page and copy the URL of the video you want to save. For example, the address below is the URL of a video on YouTube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3ymHMgFAps
2. Once this address has been copied, paste that URL into the URL text field below and click the Download Video button.
3. If done properly, a new window will appear showing a preview of the video (as shown below) with the Download links. For most users we suggest downloading the MP4 format, other formats may include FLV, 3GP, and WebM.
YouTube download window
After the file has been downloaded it will be available in your downloads folder.

I still cant download a video

If after following the above steps you do not get a preview like our example make sure that the link your are using works by opening the page in a new window. Once verified as working try the above steps again. If the steps continue to not work try one of the other YouTube download sites below.
Note: If you are at a school or job who is blocking YouTube these steps may not work.

YouTube bookmarklet

If you plan on downloading several videos, use the Computer Hope YouTube bookmarklet. See our bookmarklet page for more information about bookmarklets.

Other YouTube download sites

In addition to using the above box to convert your videos, there are also other websites and services that allow you to download YouTube videos. Below are just a few of our favorites.
Caution: These services can be used to save any flash videos online and can be used to save adult related videos, which means when viewing these pages you may be subjected to adult related content.

Watching a FLV video on your computer

If you've saved the file as a .flv file, you'll need a player that supports .flv files. Below are a few suggestions.
VLC media player
http://www.videolan.org/
Windows Media Player
Microsoft Windows users also have the ability of playing FLV files in Windows Media player with the right codec. Downloading and installing the CCCP codec installs this codec, as well as other codecs you'll likely need in the future.

how to speed up your PC

I recently visited a friend who complained that his PC was running slowly. (I often run into this when I'm over a friend's house.) It was a Windows 7 machine, and indeed it was crawling. Usually the person has become a victim of some drive-by installation, a result of clicking on some button on a webpage. Often when you install one program that you do want, you'll be hit with another you don't want. And very often that's a browser toolbar, notorious for slowing down browsing. Another major culprit is fake system speedup software.
But software isn't the only issue affecting PC speed. Thankfully, Windows offers tools that help you easily see how fast or slow your hardware components are. If you right-click on Computer and choose Properties. Here along with your Windows version and hardware, you'll see a Windows Experience rating. Hardware experts will pooh-pooh this test's ability to precisely measure system performance, but it can at least show you if there's a particular system component that's holding back your system speed.
Windows Experience rates each component out of a score of a possible max of 7.9. For example, on my work laptop, I was surprised to note that, while my 8GB of RAM and decent CPU got good scores of over 7, but my hard drive was a less impressive 5.9. And the rating page makes it easy to find the weakest link in your hardware chain, since the overall score is simply the lowest of your components, and that score is highlighted. That way, it's easy to see which component you should upgrade to get the biggest speed improvement.
Whether or not you need to add or replace hardware to get a faster running computer, check out my suggestions below for some of the best ways to get your PC back in sprinting condition.

How to Speed Up Your Mac WORK100%

1. Clear Your Hard Drive

Your device needs breathing room to function properly. Go to About this Mac > More Info > Storage to see how many GB are free and to access a color-coded picture of the files using the most space. (A free utility like Disk Inventory X is a second option.) Find out if photos, audio, movies or apps are your main culprit, then decide where to go from there.
If photos are a problem, consider transferring old images to a USB or external hard drive, or burning them to a disk. Another helpful tip? Visit your iPhoto’s trash. Just because you deleted a few pics from iPhoto doesn’t mean they’re gone. The application has its own bin that needs to be emptied; you might find 500 pictures just waiting to be purged from your hard drive.
Finally, under About this Mac > Overview, you’ll find a Software Update button. It never hurts to double check that you’re up to date.

2. Monitor Your Activity

Don’t get frustrated the next time your fan powers up and that pesky beach ball starts spinning. There’s a quick way to diagnose the problem using Apple’s Activity Monitor. Find it under Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor.
If you’re unsure how to understand the Activity Monitor, read this walkthrough from Apple. In short, each application and background process needed to run your computer uses a percentage of your computer’s CPU (central processing unit). You can also see how much memory each application requires.
Click “% CPU” once or twice to organize the list in descending order. If something is running above 90%, it’s a recognizable program and it doesn’t say “root” under the user column, close it down immediately by clicking Quit Process.
Consider adding the Activity Monitor icon to your dock. Click and hold, then select “Show CPU Usage” under Dock Icon. Now you can monitor your activity at all times.
One more check: Click the Disk Usage tab at the bottom of the Activity Monitor. If Space Free (the neon green color) is getting too narrow in the pie chart, you should probably clear even more photos and videos off your hard drive.

3. Reduce and Restart

For a quicker power up, go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items. See which boxes are checked; these are the applications that boot up every time you start up. If you don’t need them to do so, uncheck them.
Once you’re booted up, take a look at your desktop. If it’s filled with hundreds of icons, you’ve got some explaining to do. Stop saving things to your desktop. At the very least, organize your files into folders. But for best results, clean it up completely.
For any new Mac users out there, be sure to properly close programs. Simply exiting an application or browser does not stop it from running in the background. It basically just minimizes the program. (You can tell if an application is still running by the glowing marker beneath it in your dock.) If it’s a complicated program like Photoshop, you can bet it’s slowing you down. Visit the item on your dock, click and hold, then select quit.

4. Get Rid of the Extras

When it comes to language files, Apple is more than generous. Sure, it’s tempting to keep all those interesting files on your computer “just in case,” but Hrvatski, Svenska, Magyar and Suomi are taking up too much space. Chances are one is enough for you. Download the free app Monolingual to get rid of these unused files.
The “genie effect” is a signature Apple move that applies when you minimize windows, for example. But it’s an unnecessary one. Get rid of animations like these and your windows will open and minimize much faster. Go to System Preferences > Dock and change the “Minimize windows using” selection from Genie effect to Scale effect. Then uncheck the “Animate opening applications” box. This window is where you can turn the magnification of your dock on and off, as well.

How to Reset Your iPhone or iPad on iOS 7

iOS 7 has been out for a few days now, and many iPhone and iPad users have already updated to the latest version, spawning a heap of questions about the new look and layout. While many of the features remain the same, Apple changed some things around that aren’t quite apparent to those who are new to iOS 7.
Because of that, we have a bank of how-tosto help you out, and this time around, we’ll show you how to reset your iPhone or iPad in iOS 7, whether it means you’re selling your device or want to start with a clean slate.
2013-09-22 12.09.57

How to Reset Your iOS 7 Device

To reset settings and erase all the data on your iPhone or iPad, open up the Settings app and navigate to General > Reset. There are six options to choose from, as you’ll see:
  • 2013-09-22 12.09.44Reset All Settings: This resets all of your device’s settings, but keeps all of your media, files, etc.
  • Erase All Content and Settings: This is the option to choose if you want to completely wipe everything off of your iPhone or iPad.
  • Reset Network Settings: This keeps all of your content and settings intact, except for network settings, like WiFi. This can be good to do if you’re having issues with WiFi and such.
  • Reset Keyboard Dictionary: After using iMessage for a while, your device builds up a dictionary of frequently-used words and possibly abbreviations that you use often as well. Resetting this will erase all of these banked words.
  • Reset Home Screen Layout: Resetting your home screen layout keeps all of your apps, but it resets the home screen back to its original layout with all of the stock apps on the first home screen.
  • Reset Location & Privacy: If you haven’t already turned off privacy toggles and adjusted location settings to save on battery (and to keep companies from tracking you), then you should get on that. However, if you need to reset these settings, you can do that here.
Once you select any of these settings, you’ll be prompted to enter in your passcode (if you have one enabled), and then you’ll be given one final warning making sure that you want to reset settings or completely wipe your phone.

How to save battery life on iphone

Steps

  1. Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 1.jpg
    1
Lower the brightness. Go to the Settings menu, select the Brightness option, and turn the screen brightness down to low. It will be somewhat more difficult to use apps or read something on low brightness, but it will save you lots of battery power.

  2. 2
Update to the latest software. Apple engineers implement frequent changes to iPhone software, making it necessary to update to the latest software in order to harness those changes.
    • If your phone is operating iOS 5 or later, check for software update availability by going to Settings → General → Software Update.
Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 2Bullet1.jpg
    • To check for software update availability through iTunes, plug your iPhone into your computer and look for it in the source list. Click on the iPhone in the source list and then click on “Check for Updates.”
Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 2Bullet2.jpg
  3. Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 3.jpg
    3
Use music, videos, games or internet browsing sparingly. The graphics in these can all quickly drain your battery life, so make sure you're using them for all they're worth.
  4. 4
Fetch data manually, or set fetch data to "hourly." Your phone fetches data periodically to update email and other notifications. The more often your phone fetches data, the quicker your battery life may deplete.
    • To tell iPhone to let you fetch data manually, navigate to Settings → Mail, Contacts, Calendars → Fetch New Data → Manually.
Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 4Bullet1.jpg
    • To tell iPhone to let you fetch data by the hour, navigate to Settings → Mail, Contacts, Calendars → Fetch New Data → Hourly.
Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 4Bullet2.jpg
  5. Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 5.jpg
    5
    Turn WiFi Off.
  6. 6
Turn Cellular Data and (especially) 3G off.
    • Go to Setting → General → Cellular → Switch Cellular Data and Enable 3Gto Off.
Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 6Bullet1.jpg
  7. 7
Turn off push mail when you're not using it. If you have push mail on for a Yahoo! account, for example, and you dearly need to save power, turn off mail. To turn off push mail:
    • Navigate to Settings → Mail, Contacts, Calendars → Fetch New Data, and set Push to Off.
Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 7Bullet1.jpg
  8. Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 8.jpg
    8
Turn off push notifications. The iPhone's various apps are sometimes alerted to software updates through push notifications, which can unfortunately drain battery life. In order to turn off push notifications, navigate to Settings → Notifications and disable notifications for any applications you don't deem absolutely necessary.
  9. 9
Use location software sparingly. Some apps on your phone, such as Maps, use location-pinning software to determine GPS locations. When you are not using them, and for privacy concerns, get in the habit of turning this function off.
    • Go to Settings → Privacy → Location Services and disable.
Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 9Bullet1.jpg
  10. Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 10.jpg
    10
When no coverage exists, switch to airplane mode. Your iPhone always tries to search for coverage, even in places where no coverage exists, burning battery power as it does so. For this reason, it's recommended to switch over to airplane mode when you are in such an area.
  11. Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 11.jpg
    11
Close apps properly. If you just press the Home button, some apps are still running in background. Double press the Home button and close them manually.
  12. 12
Give it space when it charges. You may notice that your iPhone gets warm when it charges. If your iPhone is wrapped up in a carrying case while charging, the excess heat may affect the battery power. Be sure to give your iPhone adequate space while it's charging.
  13. Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 13.jpg
    13
Lock your phone (or put it on a short auto-lock). If your phone isn't set to a quick auto-lock time already, be sure to correct it. There's a good chance that your phone could waste battery power when you aren't using it if it isn't locked.
    • Go to Settings → General → Auto-Lock and set it to 1 minute or less.
  14. Save Battery Power on an iPhone Step 14.jpg
    14
Let your phone complete at least one charge cycle each month. A charge cycle is when you charge the phone to 100% and let the battery power drain completely, after which you charge it again. Going through a charge cycle per month keeps the electrons in the iPhone lithium battery properly greased, so to speak.
